Commercial disputes
Our firm has an extensive practice in commercial law in in difference sectors including Oil & Gas, Transportation, Insurance, hospitality, pharmaceuticals & chemicals, environmental protection and infrastructure. We represent our clients before the commercial courts in the metropolitan cities in India. We represent SMEs, MNCs and PSUs.
Licensing and Negotiation
India is a net importer of technology. We also import raw materials, fuel and machinery. We draft and enforce contracts and licensing agreements, and represent clients in arbitration and mediation when attempts are made towards amicable settlement. We also study contracts for on behalf of our clients and help them negotiate effectively.
IPR Infringement
IPR infringement is expensive and time consuming, and should be supported by a tailor-made strategy for every litigation. Our strategy takes into consideration the cost and value of the litigation, and the desired outcomes. We represent clients including research institutions, companies, large MNCs and individuals in their IPR disputes.
Maritime Contracts
We assist clients with the drafting of contracts and help in interpretation and construction issues when contract clauses are capable of more than one interpretation. We also draft contracts of affreightment and charterparties. We also use mediation, in addition to arbitration, in ADR mode to settle disputes in the domain of maritime law.
